CG Animation Supervisor
Kickstart Productions Canada is a small but growing animation and production studio located in Railtown, Vancouver. Our projects are incredibly diverse – everything from animation to live-action to digital and our audience ranges from preschool to adult.
We are small group of innovative individuals that work in a fun and creative environment and always strive to get a job done on time and to it’s maximum potential.
We are seeking someone with CG experience to act as Animation Supervisor on CG series (80 x 11 min episodes) where all modeling and animation will take place overseas.
Responsibilities:
– Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– To review all stages of layout animation and comp for all even or odd episodes.
– To use Shotgun software to convey notes and/or drawings on all stages to overseas studio.
– To review animatics in advance of animation commencement for “produceability” and to foresee potential areas of concern for overseas team.
– Review client notes and convey to the animation team.
– Work with Supervising Director (Jay Surridge) to highest quality animation possible for the schedule and the budget.
– To review all revised animation to ensure client notes have been followed.
