CG Supervisor
Reports to: Director, Senior Technical Director
Tangent Animation is seeking a talented CG Supervisor to join our growing team. Working knowledge of Maya and Blender is beneficial. Studio environment is fast-paced and committed to creating high-quality animation. Candidates should thrive as part of a team and take direction well.
Responsibilities:
Attend client meetings from initial pitches and concepts, through to project completion.
Nurture junior talent within the 3D departments, including helping with technical and creative problems.
Complete high-quality work to specification while working under tight deadlines
Identify and communicate possible snags early on in production.
Contribute to defining workflow, streamlining processes and developing tools for 3D production.
Qualifications:
We prefer CG Supervisors that have 5 or more years of professional experience working with Maya, Blender or other professional animation software, in a professional 3D environment.
Strong aesthetic sensibility.
Familiarity with production pipelines, including issues typically found in a production environment.
Ability to lead/mentor/educate team members.
