Job Title:        Studio Assistant

Department: Operations

Reports To:    Studio Manager

 

The Studio Assistant’s primary responsibilities are to assist the Studio Manager with the day-to-day operations of the studio (office environment).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with Security Companies & Property Managers for rented spaces
  • Minor studio fixes (ie. light bulbs)
  • General housekeeping/maintenance
  • Coordinating and executing artist moves between desks/floors/buildings
  • Maintain Office Supply inventory & Database
  • Purchase research (sourcing quotes on items)
  • Assist with the organization of the Studio’s Master Classes, Brand Day and other studio engagement activities
  • Maintain staff directory and Intranet (photo & other data)
  • Assist with Studio Tours & Orientation
  • Organizing welcome packages and taking photos of new staff
  • Purchasing and distributing groceries for all floors/studio spaces
  • Stock and organize office and kitchen with necessary supplies and order studio supplies as needed
  • Provide front desk reception relief/greeting visiting clients when needed
  • Other projects as required

 

Skills/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma with one year related office experience
  • Strong organizational and computer skills
  • Professionalism
  • Pro-active and able to take initiative
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Research and cost-comparison skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
