Our award winning and internationally renowned Toronto animated entertainment company is looking for an 3D FX Artist to join our newest production.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the asset team to create FX such as dirt, splashes, waves etc. to shot using Maya and Houdini
• Complete assigns tasks on schedule, ensuring deadlines are met
• Communicates risks and challenges to supervisors
•Create FX with a sense of timing for animation - Work closely with asset team to generate solutions
Qualifications:
- 2+ years as an FX artist in television or film
• In depth knowledge of Maya Dynamics, Houdini or Fume FX
• In depth knowledge of rendering and compositing strategies with Mental Ray, Vray (proficency with Nuke and NParticles an asset)
