IN-HOUSE GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Guru Studio’s dedicated team is passionate about bringing inspired character driven stories to screens around the world.
Our award-winning and internationally renowned Toronto-based entertainment company is looking for an experienced In-House Graphic Designer, who will be responsible for producing and generating all internal design needs. We want someone who is ready to tackle any design challenge and wants to help us develop and promote our brand. This role reports directly to the studio Art Director.
Responsibilities:
- Work with studio art director and various studio departments like marketing, recruiting and development and help them execute their individual design needs and deadlines
- Brainstorm, plan, and design a variety of in-house and external design materials for print + digital including: posters, banners, flyers, presentation decks, ads, style guides, design templates, show bibles, powerpoint presentations, social media visuals, landing pages and more
- Ability to produce print ready production artwork to specifications provided
- Adapt content for use across a variety of print/web needs
- Manage, organize and keep design libraries up to date
- Help with creating promotional material libraries for our shows in production
- Touch up/colour correct existing artwork for promotional use
- Produce simple motion graphics animations for interactive and web use
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years experience
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign)
- Experience in Powerpoint, Keynote and Web design an asset
- Strong sense of design, composition, typography
- Ability to adhere to design budget and manage delivery deadlines
- Detail oriented
- Self Motivated
- Strong communication skills
- Illustration skills an asset
- Motion skills an asset
- Marketing experience an asset
