Job Description
Clartoons Inc. is seeking a Layout Artist to join our 3D team. The ideal candidate will need to be proficient in Autodesk Maya and should have excellent notion of perspectives and camera positioning.
Requirements:
- Create rough layout, including character animation blocking and camera movement, following the existing storyboard
- Creating and refining camera movements, in accordance with the established storytelling guidelines
- Breakdown 2D storyboards into 3D animation shots
- Translate storyboards and animatics into polished frames
- Prepare shots for review to Layout lead and director
Qualifications:
- 3+ Years of experience in laying out sequences
- Excellent notion of perspectives and camera positioning
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Maya
- Ability to perform to standard under tight deadlines
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere or other video editing software
