New Realm Studios Inc. is looking for experienced 2D Character Animators. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team on one of our hand drawn animated productions.
Requirements:
- Create animations according to specifications and within the timelines provided.
- Strong sense of the principles of animation. (staging, acting, posing, timing, etc)
- Understanding of the entire production process from Storyboarding to Layout and Posing, Animation and Compositing.
- Troubleshoot to solve creative problems under tight deadlines
- Must possess strong communication skills.
- Double bonus if you can animate in both 2D and 3D
Qualifications and Skills
- 3+ years experience as a 2D Animator in animation pipeline is preferred.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a larger team
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and problem solve
- A proven eye for detail, scale and art style.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Must be an Ontario resident and eligible to work in Canada
