BRON-STUDIOS_Logo_FOR-LIGHT-BGSenior Multi-Disciplinary Designer
You’ve been at this for a while, and you know that Designing and solving problems is absolutely the right career for you. The only problem is that when you’re not working, you watch A LOT of movies, and have always wondered if there was a place for a Designer like you in the film industry. You’ve more or less lost interest in designing an ad campaign for a new bathroom faucet, and if you were honest with yourself you’d agree that just designing interfaces for mobile apps isn’t making the best use of your broad skills and passion for the work. If only there was a position that let you really stretch out. I mean, you take great pride in crafting best-of-class graphic solutions for web, branding, print advertising, motion graphics, business collateral, right? It’s just that you haven’t found somewhere that lets you sink your teeth in to almost all aspects of a project. You never say “That’s not my job”, and the phrase “ I just did what I was told to” makes you sad and angry at the same time. Kinda “sangry”. You really like the rapid pace of an indie studio, but’ve been at this long enough that you crave the stability of a bigger company. What you feel you need is a job that will change and evolve, requiring different skill sets and different approaches from day to day. You want to work in a small team that has the freedom to try new things and get rapid feedback. You don’t want to just go in to work for a paycheque on a client account. You want to work closely with the highest tier of the company to sell and promote films… and you want to have a great time laughing your ass off while you work hard doing it. We’re looking for you – a talented and passionate Designer to round-out the existing Design department. It’s a small department (You + the Head Of Design) that answers directly to the Managing Director, but as such you’ll have a lot of room to move quickly and initiate projects / make decisions. This position needs someone who can adapt hour-by-hour, and requires a wide range of skills, pulling on a needed wealth of experience. The ideal candidate will revel in solving problems, taking on challenges, and can quote The Goonies verbatim. You’ll be spending long hours in close quarters with your boss, so becoming friends is paramount. This position is 50{f2e86ea6af82e2bb048871abf045622abf0ed27fb513932dc1ee8c05a54cbefd} Skills, 40{f2e86ea6af82e2bb048871abf045622abf0ed27fb513932dc1ee8c05a54cbefd} Personality, and 10{f2e86ea6af82e2bb048871abf045622abf0ed27fb513932dc1ee8c05a54cbefd} Gender-neutral Ron Swanson. Can ya dig?
