We’re looking for people who want the challenge of creating premium content for some of the leagues’ leading teams, and developing video game entertainment for a platform at the leading edge.

We’re currently seeking a Lead Developer with experience in creation of quality content for the video game market to join our game development team in Ottawa.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
-Expert-level knowledge of HMTL/CSS/Javascript and Flash

-Web-savvy and thoroughly on top of the latest developments, events and standards within the web and game industries

-Ability to capture and define interaction via wireframes, specification documents, interactive prototypes or other methods as required by the project

-Strong technical ability to assess the possibilities and obstacles early on in project development

-Flexible and inventive in using different technologies, strong creative problem solving

-High-capacity producer and able to work on multiple projects if required

-Excellent at giving and receiving feedback throughout the project process

-Ability to train and mentor other Interactive Developers

-Good UI and visual design sense

-Knowledge of Visual Basic and C++

-Diploma in Game Development, Interactive Development (or equivalent)

-Commercial (Games) Software Development experience.

-Proven track record of creating cutting-edge interactive projects

Responsibilities

-Provide lead game engine design and integration for Flash development and Actionscript 3.0. Provide code optimization and game performance reviews and analysis.

-Integrate and optimize critical game play mechanics and algorithms

-Work hand-in-hand with a project team (game designers, engineers, producers) to develop & deliver new games and features while contributing to the planning of production.

-Working with others, define functional specs and non-functional requirements.

-Set objectives, supporting goals, timelines and milestones, then hit your marks.

-Complete game design documentation, write code, test code, optimize code, release code.

-Lead and actively participate in code reviews.
