Ricochet Productions, commercial post production, visual effects and animation studio in Toronto is looking for experienced Character Animators and/or Generalists for a 2-3 month contract job at our downtown facilities.
General hours are Mon-Fri, 9-5. Additional hours and weekend work may be required depending on the workload.


– Great sense of timing and movement
– Experienced in complex facial and body animation

General 3D Skills:
– Modeling
– Lighting
– Prop rigging
– Particles
– Texturing

– Able to work within a fast-paced creative team environment
– Able to cooperatively problem solve and share solutions
– Able to take direction and adapt to constant changes in creative execution
– Must be efficient, fast and require minimal supervision
– Must be organized and handle files efficiently
– Must be able to cope with the pressure of handling multiple tasks simultaneously
– Must be willing to adapt to requirements of facility workflows and pipeline
– Must be willing to learn new software

– Proficient in Maya
– Additional Software: Mudbox, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Syntheyes, Filter Forge, HDR Lighting Studio
