March Entertainment’s Sudbury studio is seeking a skilled and experienced CG Animation Director to oversee our upcoming television projects.
As CG Animation Director, you will work closely with the Producers and Directors to help them achieve their vision for their respective projects. You will also mentor and supervise animation teams both technically and creatively, and facilitate communication between all parties from a creative standpoint.
Prospective applicants must possess significant experience directing high-end CG animation for both TV and feature productions, with an understanding of the fast-paced nature of the industry and the demands of production scheduling. Experience with a major CG animation studio (e.g. Pixar, Warner Brothers, DreamWorks) is required. Applicants must have the creative skills to work with and support feature-quality footage as well as extensive knowledge of Autodesk Maya.
This is a contract position for 12 to 18 months in Sudbury, Ontario, starting October 15. Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience.
