Storyboard Artist
The Little Prince is looking for a Storyboard Artist to join its team in Montreal.
The Little Prince, based on the beloved book by Antoine de Saint-‐Exupéry, is an Animated Feature Film directed by Mark Osborne (Kung Fu Panda) with Production Design by Lou Romano (The Incredibles) and Character Design by Peter De Sève (Ice Age). It is being produced by Onyx Films and animated at Mikros Image Canada in Montreal.
The Storyboard Artist, under the supervision of the Director, is responsible of creating the visual story.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- -‐ Translate story ideas into visual sequences.
- -‐ Define scene structure, character emotion and arcs.
- -‐ Solve story problems, provide fixes Requirements:
- -‐ 3+ years professional storyboard experience required, Feature Animation preferred
- -‐ Ability to work digitally
- -‐ Strong drawing skills
- -‐ Understanding of cinematic scenes and structure Canadian Resident Preferred.
