jobby: Atomic Cartoons issues a challenge to Vancouver Storyboard Artists

Screen Shot 2014-05-15 at 7.17.21 AM I’ve known the guys at Atomic Cartoons as long as I’ve been in this business. I like them, I like the studio they run, and I like the way they run it.

For example, this note I received.

Hi Mike,

We’re looking for local comedy board artists. We’re so confident that our shows are funny that we’re offering local board guys a challenge. They come
by and we show them an animatic we just did on Pirate Express. If they don’t laugh out loud we’ll buy them lunch.That simple.Then, if they like our kind of comedy we set them up doing a board.
