Nous recrutons un ou une Superviseur(e) Animation 2D :

Primordial à son équipe de travail, le ou la Superviseur(e) Animation 2D est en charge de la direction de l’animation et de la supervision du travail des animateurs, en collaboration avec le producteur et le réalisateur. Il doit respecter les exigences tant techniques qu’artistiques du directeur de production, du réalisateur et du producteur.

Quotidien:

Analyser le storyboard et l’animatique.
Déterminer la difficulté de l’animation pour chaque scène.
Distribuer le travail selon les forces des animateurs.
Motiver et guider les animateur(e)s afin qu’ils\elles approfondissent leurs connaissances et améliorent leurs performances.
Assurer la qualité de l’animation.
Superviser le travail du Chef d’équipe Animateur 2D et lui fournir le soutien nécessaire.
Respecter les échéanciers et les horaires.

Participer à la formation sur le logiciel Toon Boom Harmony.
Assister aux réunions de production et transmettre l’information pertinente à l’équipe.
Maintenir une communication régulière avec le directeur de production et le réalisateur et les informer du statut du travail.
Participer à l’évaluation annuelle du Chef d’équipe Animateur 2D et donner régulièrement du feedback aux membres de son équipe au niveau de leur contribution.

Talents recherchés:

Diplôme en animation ou expérience équivalente.
Maîtrise de Toon Boom Harmony.
Un minimum de 5 ans d’expérience en Supervision d’Animation.
Rigueur envers son travail.
Excellente aptitude à la coordination et au respect des échéanciers
Aptitudes à la communication et à la mobilisation des gens.

We are recruiting 2D Animator Supervisor:

Collaborating with the Producer and Director, the Animation Supervisor is responsible for managing the animation department and overviewing the team’s work. He / she must comply with technical and artistic requirements coming from the Producer, the Director and the client.

Daily tasks:

Analyse the storyboard and the animatic.
Determine the level of complexity of each scene.
Distribute the work among artists according to their strengths.
Identify the corrections to do and explain them to the artists. Ensure that the corrections were done.
Ensure the quality and the deadlines are met.
Overview the Animation Lead and provide support.
Facilitate Harmony trainings.
Ensure the deadlines are met.
Motivate artists and provide support in order for them to get more knowledge and improve their performance.
Maintain ongoing communication with the Production Manager and the Director and keep them informed of the status of the work.
Provide regular feedback to team members in regards to their contribution.

Required talent:

Degree in animation or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of Toon Boom Harmony.
Minimum of 5 year experience in 2D animation.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Strong coordination ability and respect of deadlines.
Creativity, attention to detail and concern for a job well done.
