jobby: Mercury Filmworks and Guru Studio at Animators For Hire at OIAF 2010

By Mike Valiquette

Every year, the Ottawa International Animation Festival hosts an exclusive hiring opportunity with their Animators for Hire event.

They bring a bunch of studios together and allow prospective employees to grab some face time.

This year we have some solid representation from Canadian Studios.  Guru from Toronto and Ottawa’s Mercury have been posting on this site for a while now, and this is a great chance to go and talk to these guys directly.  Both are doing heavy slates of tv production work and are constantly looking for new talent.

Here’s the link.

  1. Hi! My name is hosun Lee.
I have recently graduated from Seneca College with a certificate in 3D computer animation and graduated from Sheridan College six years ago obtaining a diploma in classical animation.

In addition, I am self-motivated, dedicated, innovative, work well under pressure and able to adapt quickly to dynamic environments. My passion is 3D texture, lighting and rendering and I would be a valuable addition to your company.
