from the internets: Awards Season Hubbub, Canada at the Oscars

Academy_Award_trophyLots of Canadian representation at the Oscars this year, and big wins for the Mouse. Sheridan alumni went head to head as How to Train Your Dragon 2 (Dean Deblois) lost out to Big Hero 6 (Chris Williams). Torill Kove’s Me and My Moulton didn’t get the statue, but the nomination did keep the National Film Board legacy of Oscar presence alive and well.
