Call for Entries: SPP 2011 Project Competition

The 10th Global cartoon and animation market SPP (Seoul Promotion Plan) which will be held from July 20 to July 22, 2011 in Seoul, Korea, is looking for new animation projects for its “SPP 2011 Project Competition”. SPP seeks to promote the merits of the market and find promising and commercially viable projects. Candidates for entry are animation projects being planned or produced from all over the world.

Entries reaching the final round of competition will not only have an opportunity to pitch in front of buyers and investors at the SPP 2011 on July 20~22, 2011, but they will also have the opportunity to meet influential buyers, producers, investors and licensees from all over the world.

Free promotional desk to display the project during the SPP period

The application deadline is May 20th, by mail or in person.  The qualifications for entry are pretty broad:

Individuals, companies or consortium groups who are planning or producing new animation projects all over the world.

New projects looking for the broadcast media, distributors, investors and co-production partners.

All the projects of the candidates should not been broadcasted before.

And there are 5 prizes of ten thousand dollars each in the following categories: Best Planning, Best Creativity, Best Technology, Best Distinction and Special Jury.
