RIP Mark Dailey, voice of City TV and Crag(Ripping Friends)

By Mike Valiquette

He didn’t do a lot of animation work, but I’m using that as an excuse here.  This guy had one of the best voices on TV.  I don’t have cable anymore, so I was unaware of the fact that he was sick, but apparently he’s battled cancer before, and finally succumbed to it this afternoon.

He was 57 and is survived by his wife and daughter.

Coverage here and here.

    shocked! and sad.

  2. Actually, he did more than IMDb lets on. My piece on him includes his guest shot on Spliced!:

  3. Mike Magnan

    He did quite well.

  4. Oh wow, I wasn’t aware of this either! I practically grew up hearing his voice.
