Capilano University’s Animation Programs will hold their industry night Friday, April 27th from 5pm to 9pm at the Harbour Centre, in downtown Vancouver. They will be exhibiting drawing, design and animation of the 2D and 3D Capilano U. programs. DHX Media will be presenting a $2,000 scholarship/paid summer internship and Atomic Cartoons will present two scholarships ($1500 and $500) and paid summer internships (both for 1st year students continuing to 2nd year). And Wacom USA will present a new 24″ HD Cintiq to one grad as well. Toon Boom is awarding a top animation grad with a commercial Harmony license.
The public is invited to the show on Saturday, April 28, noon to 4pm.
