    Hello, my name is Cynthia; I understand that you are in need of a talented and passionate pro AVID editor.

    Just to let you in on a little secret: communicating in all mediums is my passion! I consider myself to be a visual storyteller, a creative thinker, and an “idea” person who loves to solve problems. I will be asset to your creative team. I am a very fast learner, who has many skills (design/videography) to bring to the table and I love animation my favorite being vintage Bugs Bunny!

    And, I absolutely need to be creative 24/7.

    My intention is to provide you with the following:

    an insistence on listening, hearing, prioritizing and translating your needs in to a visual style and story that you love;

    a relentless focus on visual storytelling and style using digital tools to push the envelope, my goal being to engage and excite viewers from the beginning to the end of the video;

    a strong work ethic and a dedication to excellence working hard to support your efforts and goals in an efficient and professional manner;

    superior leadership and collaboration skills paired with excellent problem solving and decision-making skills to lead the post production team to success;

    years of experience working w/a home-based AVID Media Composer (6.0.1/Matrox MX02 Mini/Ext. Raid 5 storage/a 64 bit, super fast, cutting-edge – no pun intended – Intel i7 4.17 GHZ 6 core system w/32 GBS);

    a willingness to negotiate a reasonable flat fee dependent on the budget of the project whether big or small.

    During the Summer of 2010, I cut a really cool indie feature in 10 weeks: a miracle!!!

    Also, I worked w/Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis on a tribute montage, honoring the film “Thelma & Louise”, which was screened at Roy Thomson Hall in June 2011 as part of the 20th Anniversary reunion event. Additionally, I worked w/the stage managers and the crew of RTH preparing discussion clips as well as a Power Point Presentation for the various sponsors of the event; I also designed the artwork and interface for the final DVD.

    In the fall of 2011, I produced, and edited a 30 min. documentary along with a corporate video for Next, a cutting edge company that uses neuroplasticity to help people live more fulfilled lives.

    Last spring and summer, I shot and edited two fun parody videos for an up and coming local chef along with a lecture and a meditational video for a non-profit organization; I also designed the DVD artwork and interface.

    And, I just shot and edited a short entitled “Autumn”, which you can view on my website (please refer to the link below).
