We got a heads up about this festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. It’s got an interesting structure whereby they pick monthly winners who then all compete for a final prize in January.
I checked the FAQ and there is an entry fee. Open to all nationalities. No documentaries, commercials or music videos.
Breakout Film Festival is currently accepting submissions for our monthly short film contest. Entries for the February competition close 29th February and we’d love to invite you to submit your project.
The winning films from each month will have a cinematic screening to compete for the Best Short Film title. The event will be held next January in the arts and culture capital of the world, Edinburgh. The winner will be awarded $500 and our coveted trophy.
