Two days after announcing that Catherine Winder will step down as president and executive producer on June 30, Rainmaker has revealed it’s selling its animation studio to Beijing-based animation company Xing Xing Digital.

Wow that is interesting to see a Chinese company buying out a big Canadian animation company. I worked briefly at Xing Xing in Beijing before. The CEO did his university studies in Vancouver.
